Simba is the main character in the Disney cartoon The Lion King. At the beginning of the animated film, we see Simba, a baby who has just been baptized, carried by Rafiki on the Lion Rock: he is the heir of Mufasa, the king of the jungle. When Simba grows up, he becomes very agitated and thinks that everything is allowed to him, as a prince and future king. Taking advantage of Simba's naivety, his uncle Scar tells him about the elephant graveyard behind the northern border hill, which his father forbids the young prince to enter because it is too dangerous. Overexcited by what his uncle has just told him, Simba takes Nala on an adventure. The queen asks Zazu to accompany them, which Simba does not appreciate. They manage to get rid of the hornbill, but when they arrive at the cemetery, they are ambushed by Scar's three hyenas. Fortunately, Mufasa intervenes at this point and saves the two cubs. Mufasa is disappointed by his son's behaviour but decides not to scold him. He then explains to him that risking one's life does not mean being brave and that he was very afraid for Simba. Mufasa then tells him what his own father used to tell him: the stars in the sky represent their ancestor king and that they will always be there to guide Simba whenever he feels lonely. When Mufasa dies, Simba thinks he is responsible and decides to run away. He meets Timon and Pumbaa who will adopt him. He will grow up with them before meeting again the pretty Nala who will push him to take back what is rightfully his.
On this figurine, Simba is represented as an adorable little lion. He is sitting with his tail up and we recognize his pretty yellow fur and the beige area on his chest. He has big ears and big round eyes. Funko has added a small tuft of hair on his head which makes him even more adorable. You can also see some teeth sticking out of his muzzle.
