HOW CAN I BE SURE MY ORDER WILL BE RECEIVED ONCE IT IS SUBMITTED ONLINE?

You will receive an email confirmation/sms after you have placed your order online.

It will confirm that the order has been received and will come to you immediately following the completion of your online order.
As soon as your order is collected by the couriers, you will receive an email/sms with your tracking number. If we have any questions about your order, you will be contacted by phone.

What if I have a question or I need personal assistance with an online order?

I WANT TO MAKE AN EFT/BANK DEPOSIT PAYMENT. HOW DO I GO ABOUT IT?

Firstly, upon reaching the payment section when checking out, make sure you choose the Bank Deposit option. This is essentially an EFT Payment you can then complete in your preferred method (Via your banking app or ATM). Our banking details are as follows:

We ask that you please send your proof of payment to popstoysonline@gmail.com within eight hours of placing your order. If you do not, we will have cancel your order.

Please note that no order will be shipped until the payment has cleared. From non FNB banks this can take up to 48 hours so if you are in a hurry, please make sure that you choose the instant payment option. You will be notified as soon as your payment has been received.

 

HOW ABOUT CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS?

For safer, quicker and easier payments save your card details on PayFast when shopping on www.popstoys.co.za.

Simply select to save your details on your next purchase and once your order has been placed you’ll be prompted to choose your security question on the order confirmation page. Then, on your next purchase simply select your card, supply your CVV number to complete your order. Note, you can save more than one card, and all saved cards will be available on checkout page for quicker and easier payments, especially if you’re shopping on the go. You can also manage your saved credit card information on your accounts page.

What information will we need?

Your 16-digit credit card number
The expiry date
The CVV number (that’s the last 3 digits on the back of your card)
Your name exactly as it appears on the front of the card

When will the payment be deducted from your account?

Immediately. That means we can start processing your order straight away.

Please Note: Credit Cards used for the first time on our website together with any large or unusual credit card transactions will need to be validated by the issuing bank or the cardholder before your order can be processed.

3D Secure

3D Secure is a technical standard created by Visa and MasterCard to further secure CNP (Card-holder Not Present) transactions over the Internet. 3D Secure protects a buyer's credit card against unauthorised use when shopping online. This service enables buyers to validate transactions they make over the internet by requesting a personal code (usually sent to their cell phone or email address as a One Time PIN or OTP). It helps protect against fraudulent use by unauthorised individuals.

This, however, is controlled by the buyer’s bank and not PayFast,  as the bank would verify the OTP and should their 3D secure verification fail the payment will fail.

This is not unique to PayFast and you will experience the same issues regardless of the payment gateway that you use. The reason for this is because PASA (Payments Association of South Africa) has now enforced 3D secure verification on ALL payments.

The way credit card payments used to be processed online before 3D secure verification was enforced was:

  1. The cardholder enters their card information (16 digit card number, expiry date, cvv number) on the PayFast engine.
  2. PayFast submits the data to our acquiring bank.
  3. Our acquiring bank authorises the transaction (by communicating with the credit card network and issuing bank).
  4. The response (success or failure) is passed back up the chain to the card holder.

Now that 3D Secure is enforced there is a lot more hand-offs in the process:

  1. The cardholder enters their card information (16 digit card number, expiry date, CVV number) on the PayFast engine.
  2. PayFast contacts a directory server to see if the card is enrolled in 3D Secure.
  3. The directory server responds with a message indicating that the card is registered.
  4. PayFast uses the message to redirect the cardholder to a ‘3D Secure’ page served by the issuing bank.
  5. The cardholder authenticates themselves to the issuing bank on the 3D Secure page (One Time PIN, known password etc.)
  6. The result of this authentication is returned to PayFast.
  7. PayFast submits the card information and the 3D Secure authentication result to our acquiring bank.
  8. Our acquiring bank authorises the transaction (by communicating with the credit card network and issuing bank).
  9. The response (success or failure) is passed back up the chain to the card holder.

As you can see there are a lot more handoffs in the process with 3D secure verification, and unfortunately, if any of the above steps fail the payment will not go through. 

If you are unable to pay via 3 D secure please choose our Bank Deposit option and do a stand EFT payment from your own bank account to us :)

How do I Login?

Please enter your Username and Password into the fields provided when clicking on the top right hand side LOCK, to access your Pops Toys account. If you do not have an account with Pops Toys and wish to create one, simply click on the following link. How do I buy something from Pops Toys?

 

1. Find the items you wish to buy

 

Keyword search boxes are located on nearly every page. You will also find links to browse lists and more detailed product-specific searches in the top and left navigation bar of each department. When you find an item that interests you, click the title or name of the item to see its details and including availability.

 

2. Add to cart

 

Found the products you want to buy? Click on Add to cart. Your shopping cart contains all the products that you have selected to buy. Once you’ve added an item to your Shopping Cart, keep searching until your cart contains all of the items you want to order. You can access the contents of your Shopping Cart at any time by clicking the Cart button on the TOP right hand side of the website. 

 

3. Check out

 

To enter checkout, click on the on the shopping basket that is located on the top left hand side of the page.
Your product list will appear. Click on the 'View Cart' button that appears near the bottom left of the screen.
You can now see all the items that you have chosen to order. If you would like to change the quantity or remove items, you can do so here. If you have made any changes, remember to click the 'Update' button above the 'Checkout' button. Should you wish to give special instructions regarding your order, or simply ask us to wrap the item for you, there is box where you can leave us a note on the bottom right hand side.

Once you are satisfied with your order, you can click the 'Checkout' button on the bottom left.

You will now be asked to fill in your contact information and shipping address.Once you have completed the form you can click the 'Continue to Shipping' button located in lower middle section of the screen.

You are now on the Shipping Page. Here you can either go back and change your address or contact information. Remember to make sure we have at least two contact numbers, as well as your email address so the we can reach you if needed.

Here you can also choose if you would like your order to be couriered to you, or if you would like to collect your order in our store located in Benoni. Once you have done so, you can click on the 'Continue to Payment' button located in lower middle section of the screen.

You will be taken to the Payment Page where you can go over all the information you have provided to make sure that it is correct. 

When you go slightly down the page you will be presented with the payment options available to you. You can choose the PayFast option to make the payment with your Credit or Debit card, or you can choose the Bank Deposit option. 

You can now click on the 'Complete Order' button located in lower middle section of the screen. If you have chosen to pay with your bank card, you will be redirected to the PayFast website.

If you have chosen the Bank Deposit option, you will be taken to a screen where your order will be confirmed and you will see our banking details displayed.
