Along with the Bulldozer and the Tow Truck, the LEGO Technic Crane Truck (model 8258) is another in the LEGO Technic Series of vehicles. This classically styled heavy crane can be reconstructed into an equally useful Duty Wrecker. This LEGO crane truck is a bit larger and more advanced than other LEGO construction vehicles but still works well in play with other LEGO heavy construction equipment sets. The LEGO crane truck is equipped with a LEGO Power Functions XL Motor, Battery Box, and Control Switch. The Power Functions allow the crane arm and the extendable outriggers to move. The LEGO Technic Crane Truck is recommended for children and teens age 11 to 16 years. The crane arm of the vehicle can be raised, lowered, and moved in a 360-degree radius. The LEGO Technic Crane Truck is the heavy lifter of the LEGO Technic Series and measures 53 by 56 cm and has 1,877 individual pieces.
