After the death of her parents, five-year-old Heidi at first lives with her aunt Dete. When Dete finds a new job in Frankfurt am Main, she takes little Heidi to her grandfather in the Swiss mountains. At first the grumpy Grandfather doesn't want to have anything to do with his granddaughter, but after a short time the cheerful girl conquers the heart of the old man with her loving nature. For many years Heidi and her grandfather live happily in the alpine hut, take care of the animals and enjoy the carefree life in nature. The playset contains the characters Heidi, aunt Dete, Grandfather and dog Joseph, as well as the alpine hut the home of Heidi and her grandfather. The alpine hut consists of a living room with cooker, bed, closet, a table with two chairs and a tree stump, Heidi's preferred seat. On the side there is a pantry with shelves on which sausage, cheese, vegetables and other supplies can be stored. Heidi has a silicone cape that can be put on and taken off.
